A "Far Wake" is the long trail a powerful ship leaves behind.

Separate from Stormslayer in name, business, and ledgers. Farwake operates on a simple truth: trade isn’t clean. It’s sharp, calculated, and real. And while it may be leaner than its parent house, it’s just as ambitious, driven by the belief that legacy should never hold back progress.

The Farwake Trading Company is a Heavy RP-focused branch of the Stormslayer Roleplaying Community designed for players who want to explore morally grey, higher-stakes, and more supernatural-leaning storylines.While Stormslayer remains the “clean” face of trade that is community-driven, artisan-focused, and broadly approachable, Farwake exists to tell the kinds of stories that don’t neatly fit into that space.Farwake is not separate in the community; it’s an extension of what already exists. Players can interact with both sides, Stormslayer and Farwake, use different characters, or explore different facets of the same character, depending on the story being told. The goal is to expand roleplay opportunities, not divide them.

Some Things to Note Before Getting Started!

Make your story make sense.
If your character’s actions don’t hold up under basic scrutiny, it pulls everyone out of the experience. Cool ideas are great, but they still need to be believable within the world.Internal logic and common sense matter.
Power, influence, and outcomes should feel earned as your actions have weight. If something feels unrealistic or forced, it probably is.This space isn’t for everyone, and that’s intentional.
We welcome all players, but Farwake leans into conflict, tension, and morally grey storytelling. Farwake may not be for those who:– Are Emotionally Trigger Sensitive and/or Conflict-Adverse
– Brand new RPers still learning foundational skills and/or do not like Heavy RP
– Anyone who cannot clearly separate IC from OOC (Taking things a bit too personally and/or struggles with events after a scene)If that’s you right now, THAT'S OK!! But we highly encourage you to check out our other community avenues through the Stormslayer Trading Co. and other groups in the near future.You get what you give.
Effort, consistency, and engagement matter. Also—if your character makes bold or reckless choices, consequences will follow. It’s your responsibility to navigate or repair what your character creates or breaks.Also, if your character is an asshole to everyone, you don't get the right to cry when people don't engage with your character. That is a problem for YOU to resolve -- not the community.Morally grey does NOT mean anything goes.
We explore complex and mature themes, but there are hard lines:No Criminal RP
(But we do know some people who do... Ask around ;) )No ERP or sexually explicit content
(Take that back to your apartments, please!)No Torture or extreme violence
(No judgment - but NO.)If your concept relies on crossing those lines, it doesn’t belong here.
